Occupational health management: LUSINI relies on the Business Health Index

The Congress on Occupational Health Management (BGM) is an important platform for companies to exchange information on current developments in the field of employee health. This year, the congress was held for the tenth time and the event in Düsseldorf offered experts, companies and researchers the opportunity to jointly shape the future of BGM. A notable highlight of the congress was the presentation by Ruth Lorenz, representing LUSINI. In her contribution, she underlined the importance of a structured approach to workplace health management and emphasised the need for measurability of health measures. LUSINI has established itself as a pioneer in the field of occupational health management. Since 2022, we have been actively using the Business Health Index (BHI®), an innovative instrument that can be used to record the holistic health status of a company. The BHI takes into account the physical, mental and social health of employees and also enables the assessment of the economic impact of health measures. r use of the BHI underlines our commitment to the well-being of our employees. In doing so, we pursue the goal of making LUSINI a more attractive employer not only in Germany, but also at our international locations. At a time when soft factors such as the working atmosphere and a healthy working environment are becoming increasingly important, we ensure that we not only offer financial incentives but also actively promote the health and well-being of our employees. Together with the first companies that are also already using the BHI, Ruth Lorenz reported on the positive reactions of the employees at the BGM. They feel valued and taken seriously, which has a positive effect on employee retention. Our plan is to survey the BHI every twelve to eighteen months in order to continuously implement measures that have a proven positive effect on the health and performance of our employees.und Leistungsfähigkeit unserer Mitarbeiter haben.
